Allan Stewart, the oldest university graduate in the world, has got enrolled in the Master of Clinical Sciences course at the Southern Cross University.Winning a position in the Guinness Book of World Record after receiving his Bachelor of Law degree, four years back, the 95 year-old is heading towards the university attendance once again.
He took up the Law degree course after retiring from NSW's mid-north coast.
The Master of Clinical Sciences course is essentially a one year course. He aims at inspiring others with his strong passion for studies.
He shared that he was himself inspired by his family members for joining the new course.
Allan Stewart is a father of 6. He has 17 grandchildren and great grandchildren. All of his family members attended an orientation week in Lismore including his 70 year-old daughter Anne Hailes, who got herself enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts course at the university.
"As a health professional, and because of my age, I am keenly interested in this qualification", he said.
He expressed his strong optimism towards future despite his big age.
